Our software defined, on-site controller adopts open Restful API running under the stable Linux kernel. The controller I/O (Sensor Inputs and Actuator Outputs ) ports are able to setup as any type of input and output signal standards via software UI remotely. All the physical I/O ports are equal, but can be configured freely between DO, DI, AO and AI. This provides a huge advantage to the Sensor as a Service layer where smart city service providers have a variety of needs on the keep upgrading sensor type. You have the full freedom to define your own gateway /on-site controller and interface with any cloud services at your choice.
